1. Anyone know if there is any add-in software or ways to do escalation of paging/texting?
Example: server goes down, it sends out a page to a primary admin. That primary admin does not respond back or get the server up in a time limit, the servers alive will send a new page out to an alternate contact (like escalation) and keep sending up a chain of command until the server is brought up (each having a time limit between escalations) 2. Any way for servers alive to take action based on some snmp event or email alert - server goes down, servers alive sends out an email to a primary admin, primary admin replies to the email and somehow servers alive does an action based on that email response - like stops sending pages or puts the server in maintenance mode Thanks - Dave To unsubscribe send a message with UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line to [email protected] If you use auto-responders (like out-of-the-office messages), make sure that they are not sent to the list nor to individual members.
