Thank you for all of the various suggestions. I'm going to give SAWeb a shot to 
see if that'll work for us. Can this be hosted on the same machine as 
ServersAlive or should it go on another box?

Is there a way to be able to remotely administer ServersAlive using Terminal 
Services or some other remote administration tool? I looked into the SAWeb 
option, which I saw mentioned in the List Archives, but the 
http://www.networksimplicity.com site appears to be offline.

Really we're just looking for the ability to enable/disable maintenance mode 
for items? Most other maintenance can be done at the console, though it would 
be easier if there is a way to do it remotely.
