You can't do a console switch in W2k server only w2k3 - how about
telnet?

Thank you for the suggestion, however this doesn't seem to work for me.
I connect and still don't see the SA icon in the System Tray. The server
is Windows 2000 Server SP4.

The SA server is set to login with the SYSTEM account. The 'Allow
Service to Interact with Desktop' box is checked.

Mstsc.exe /console /v:yourserverFQDNhere

Will connect you to the console session when Salive is running as a
service for administration.  So will anything that directly hooks into
the console (VNC, PCAnywhere, Timbuktu, etc.)
