If its only maintenance changes you need use the maintenacen.exe on the
remote machines in a batch file like so:

Maintenance.exe hostname=serveralivemachinename hostport=4301
action=maintenance ui=(number of check) /start

And then:

Maintenance.exe hostname= serveralivemachinename hostport=4301
action=active ui=(number of check) /start

To bring it back out of maintenance.

Works fine with our team and no RDP confusion anymore ;-)

The /CONSOLE option doesn't work in the Win2K TS server, only in the
Win2003
server (if memory serves me right)

Thank you for the suggestion, however this doesn't seem to work for me.
I
connect and still don't see the SA icon in the System Tray. The server
is
Windows 2000 Server SP4.

The SA server is set to login with the SYSTEM account. The 'Allow
Service to
Interact with Desktop' box is checked.

Best Regards,

Mike

Start|Run
Mstsc.exe /console /v:yourserverFQDNhere

Will connect you to the console session when Salive is running as a
service for
administration. So will anything that directly hooks into the console
(VNC,
PCAnywhere, Timbuktu, etc.)
