I think I may have helped with some troubleshooting of this in the past, but I don't think I was ever seriously working on this. If someone else wants to tackle, go right ahead. I don't have enough experience with Java (especially 64-bit amd systems) to tell what is going on. However, to start troubleshooting, does the Jmol example work for you from the jmol website?
