Hi, I ran across the Imperial Collge Metric project which looked at mathematics education. An archive of some old work is at:
http://metric1.ma.imperial.ac.uk/ In particular interest is an Intro to Mathematica, http://metric1.ma.imperial.ac.uk/mathematica/ and the PDF: http://metric1.ma.imperial.ac.uk/mathematica/download/Course.pdf We might want to do something similar as an Intro to Sage since it does a good job of covering a lot of things a student might be interested in doing.
