Do *not* install the gcc-4.2.1.spkg since it is not required and will
cause trouble on an x86_64 platform since the wrong libstdc++.so ends
up in LD_LIBRARY_PATH. This is fixable, but for you it is likely to be
faster if you install from sources in a new directory. Do you really
need all of the above spkgs? It is likely that the openssl.spkg might
also interfere with the _md5 module. You do not need to install it
either.

Well, next time you should provide a link to the compressed version of
install.log from $SAGE_ROOT. Do *not* send it as an attachment to the
list since there are more than 500 people here who are unlikely to be
interested in your install.log
