Interesting idea. Complicating factors include:
1. Executing that middle cell would lead to a lot of other executing
code that you didn't see (the dependent cells).
2. The dependent cells could have been modified, deleted, etc., so you'd
probably want to execute the original contents of those cells (if you
can get it). But then you are executing code that is not being shown in
those dependent cells.
Perhaps a message would be enough of a clue -- this cell depends on
other cells, so make sure you execute them first.
