I had imagined that it would be an option that individual users would
configure for
a given worksheet.  However, there would also be a global option in a
user configuration page to set the *default* for worksheets.  If a
user downloads a worksheet, and somebody else uploads it, the implicit
multiplication option would be preserved (since it is a property of
the worksheet).

I would like to consider changing the typesetting checkbox to be the
same as what I've outlined above.
