I have done a new version of the gap_packages spkg, adding some new packages. In particular i have added automata, cohomolo, crisp, fga, fplsa, gbnp, kbmag and quagroup. The reason why i have chosen those is that they are the ones that are listed as accepted in the gap site, are under the GPL or LGPL (or their authors have answered me giving me permission to distribute them under thr GPL), and don't deppend on GAP 4.5 or packages without a clear license.
