To defend why i wrote sage-devel in the beginning, this is exactly how sympy does it. We should keep introductions and gsoc program specific stuff in sage-gsoc and development questions here. Also, I invite current developers to look over to sage-gsoc. Some questions are development specific, and even in one case there has already been done some work by someone else.
