I would rather not move bsd.math over to lion. We have a few machines running lion currently and there is a tendency of crashing -- we don't want that on bsd. I'm heading in later today to fix one of these machines from such a crash, and when I do I'll be sure to make you an account. FYI, sqrt5 has been down for awhile since it is extremely prone to kernel panics and I have yet to figure out the issue. My guess at this point in time is that these are due to it using the 32-bit kernel, which apple clearly isn't supporting any more -- the main requirement of 10.8 over 10.7 is support for the 64-bit kernel. Unfortunately this is a different requirement than simply having 64-bit hardware, since apple has not and probably will not add 64-bit kernel support for many of the early core 2 systems, which includes sqrt5's model. > > Dima > > -- > To post to this group, send an email to sage-devel@googlegroups.com > To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to > sage-devel+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel > URL: http://www.sagemath.org -- Andrew -- To post to this group, send an email to sage-devel@googlegroups.com To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to sage-devel+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel URL: http://www.sagemath.org
