How could I call that from Sage? On sage.math I get:
sage: r.testInstalledBasic("basic")
Error: object 'sage2' not found
The only 'test' related things in Sage with R seem to be
r.testInheritedMethods r.testVirtual
r.testPlatformEquivalence
