That patch http://sagetrac.org/sage_trac/ticket/6563 fixes the problem, but perhaps in a non-ideal way, as it adds install-sh to the top level directory. (There are already 15 or so copies of that file in the singular distribution.) The failure to find install-sh when there are about 15 copies of it is probably a bug in autoconf or singular's build system. The problem I have is that if ever problem noticed on Solaris was fully investigated as well as I'd like to do, progress would drop to a crawl. It seems to me that adding install-sh in the top level directory will not break anything and will allow singular to install properly. > Now onto ATLAS. I won't expect to hear from you for another 8 hours or so then! I'm trying to add support for the later processors in ATLAS's code. Then hopefully I can reduce the time it takes to install, once I have the tuning data for the T2+ processor and I have ATLAS understanding what it is. Currently it checks for various UltraSPARC CPUs, but the T2+ is not one of them. dave --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to sage-devel@googlegroups.com To unsubscribe from this group, send email to sage-devel-unsubscr...@googlegroups.com For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel URLs: http://www.sagemath.org -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
