Hi, I've updated the package, put a note in the ticket, saying the file has been updated and giving a meaningful comment. That comment is: The link is http://sage.math.washington.edu/home/kirkby/Solaris-fixes/pari/pari-2.3.3.p1.spkg The comment is "Adds -fPIC to allow building on Solaris. Removes a previous unsuccessful attempt at adding -fPIC" Would you mind updating this to "positive review" and making the changes via hg, as I've not get that set up yet - sorry about that, I'll do that very soon.
