It's documented. You have to read the ATLAS documentation. Michael Abshoff regularly added new pretune parameters for the ATLAS spkg, but since he quit somebody else will have to figure out how to do it and do it. I think it would be worth always choosing some default -- I.e., never by default running the atlas tuning scripts (that take 12 hours). If there is no known default for the machine, find the closest, and print and huge warning message about this (possibly even on startup of Sage, with an easy way to disable it). > 2) Does anyone know how I can save the binaries and restore them another > time, rather than rebuild it. There have been at least 1-2 recent threads on sage-devel (or support?) including a complete script posted by somebody about building multiple packages in parallel.
