Yes, and 3.1.3 should contain two ticket that create more basic
infrastructure and the switchover of Z and Q to the new coercion
model.
I still think that Singular on OSX somehow uses more address space for
the same operation than on Linux. I have not had the time to drill
down into the details unfortunately.
