That's exactly where the existing link in the installation guide leads, after the mirror selection. Ah, I see. That is the last line of the section 2 of the Installation Steps. Note that the decision to de-emphasize use of the self-contained tarballs was made deliberately. I see no reason to reverse it. OK.
