Hello, Alpha2 and Alpha3 never made it to the public due to some build issues and the slashdotting of sage.math. Alpha4 has many new goodies:
* R 2.6.1 * PolyBoRi (missing the integration patch) * FLINT 1.02 It passes make check on sage.math as well as OSX 10.5.1 Intel. The alpha4 tarball [182 MB in size] is at http://sage.math.washington.edu/home/mabshoff/sage-2.9.alpha4.tar The increase in size is due to R as well as PolyBoRi. We will work on decreasing the size of both packages. Burcin: can you please post a bundle that applies against alpha4? I would like to merge it during the alpha5 cycle. There are still plenty of interesting patches to review in trac. So if you have some time please do so. Alpha5 is finally the ATLAS merge - I plan to work on this after I am done with real work.
