OK, I would be very interested to see instructions that allow me to do
just that, then. I have tried the example in

sage.plot.plot3d.base?

which in the notebook gives me the static picture but clicking the
"interactive view" link has only given results varying from no effect
to a crashed browser (firefox). Are there further instructions
somewhere?
