In Firefox just selecting causes the action to occur, via javascript.
In Safari it doesn't work at all.  I created those menus as standard
HTML drop downs due to lack of time, and intend to rewrite them
as javascript menus later -- like in Google Documents.

Thank Google.  I just implemented their design for Google Documents.
That said, I agree that the collaboration and publishing model will llikely
work very well for teaching, and plan to use it next week in a workshop.
Each day there will be a new SAGE worksheet that I've published, which
all the students will copy, try out, modify themselves, etc.
