Why not just write the notebook in Python or PHP using mod_PHP or mod_python in Apache and just create a sage worker server? This way could setup a notebook and use SSH to talk a the worker server. The worker server would do all the SAGE computations.
This way I could host my notebook using a standard web host that supports PHP or Python , and mysql. The worker server would be hosted by the University of Washington.
