Hi Pere, It would be very nice if you could explain precisely how you make the package and how we can automate creating such packages. This might be easiest for you if you have an account on sage.math.washington.edu, since then other SAGE developers can look at what you did -- what login name would you like?
Also, currently there is currently a problem (relevant to Debian), which we just discovered, which is that one of the libraries (omalloc) that is included with Singular has a restrictive license. So SAGE can't go into an official _free_ Debian repository until that issue is resolved. -- William ------- Forwarded message ------- From: "Pere Urbón" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: sage-devel@googlegroups.com Cc: Subject: [sage-devel] SAGE 1.3.7.3-1 debian package. Date: Wed, 11 Oct 2006 00:30:45 -0700 Dear all, I compile a debian package for sage 1.3.7.3. You could find it here: http://modular.math.washington.edu/home/purbon/packages/debian/sage_1.3.7.3-1_i386.deb I like to submit this package (or any one with the new 1.4 version) into the debian repository, what do you think mr. Stein? Are the main developers ok?. This is my first package so it could contain some errors, if you find someone please send it to me and I rebuild the package.
