Hi folks, Do we have any candidates for crypto libraries to be bundled along with Sage?
At the IPAM.UCLA Crypto/# Theory workshop, Johannes Buchmann mentioned a Java based toolkit which his group has developed -- Flexiprovide. Curious to know how Python integrates with Java libs and if there are any issues pushing/pulling data, efficiency, etc. Ifti. === http://www.flexiprovider.de/ The FlexiProvider is a powerful toolkit for the Java Cryptography Architecture (JCA/JCE). It provides cryptographic modules that can be plugged into every application that is built on top of the JCA. The goal of our project is to supply fast and secure implementations of cryptographic algorithms which are easy to use even for developers who are not well-footed in the field of cryptography. The FlexiProvider has been developed by the Cryptography and Computer Algebra Research Group of Prof. Dr. Johannes Buchmann at the Departement of Computer Science at Technische Universitt Darmstadt (Darmstadt University of Technology). --- Licensing: The FlexiProvider is open source. The Core Provider module is LGPL licensed, the EC and the NF Provider modules are GPL licensed. Alternative licensing options are available upon request. Licensing of the codec package is subject to the SeMoA license which is similar to the LGPL. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to sage-devel@googlegroups.com To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel URLs: http://sage.scipy.org/sage/ and http://modular.math.washington.edu/sage/ -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
