Ok i can reproduce the issue. Very easily that is. I will thoroughly look into this tomorrow, i promise. The initial s-nail: TLS socket read error, retrying: Interrupted system call you see surely comes from the gpg process going home after doing *netrc-pipe* work, causing a SIGCLD. Ugly, but true. :) Yes .. i personally do not use the network code most of the time, the v14.10 development branch has a network test .. since two years :( .. and i blindly trust the code when that thing does not report errors. Hm. Maybe we even need a v14.9.24, what a mess.
