I'm making this a separate topic so as not to muddy waters with reference to the other scrolling topic.
I sometimes capture the editor output of a piece being run to make an audio/video back-track. This helps the student (me) learn a piece via paracticing it while watching the scroll on TV. I try to include in such captures as many significant tracks as possible, the potential of 4k TV's being quite large (can't afford one yet). The problem is the way that the 'lubber line' moves is confusing. I would much rather see the image scroll under a line fixed in the center, the short of the long would be that at the start the line motors from the left to center, then the staffs start motoring, and when the end has come into view then the page stops and the line motors again this time to the end. I fear this could be a larger task, only the people familiar with the innards will know. I'll leave spot-on note highlighting for later :-)))) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Comprehensive Server Monitoring with Site24x7.
