It would be nice to have a way to change the MIDI commands output.
A kind of patch panel that allows you to edit a MIDI command output. in
this way the GM standard reverb control command could be translated into
a custom command to any MIDI instrument, reading commands directly from
their user manuals.
Better still if, as some other programs, if Rosegarden could learn
"listening" to this command maybe present to the instrument panel, in
other words, the possibility of putting Rosegarden listening for the
reverb command (or any other), make changes to the reverberation command
of the instrument, and see Rosegarden using this new code, customizing
the configuration, for the reverb command for the specific instrument.
The ability to save the setting and perhaps be able to share the
configuration file of a particular instrument would then be the maximum.
But maybe I really wonder too, maybe you will understand that I am not a
developer.
