Assunto: Re: Strength of spherical harmonic preferential orientation
correction

Hi, Fracois,

Take a look in the book "Powder diffraction, Theory and practice" edited by
Dinnebier and Billinge, published by The Royal Society of Chemistry, 2008.
In chapter 12, page 347 you can find the texture strength for spherical
harmonics - formula (52). You have only to add a factor 1/4 in front of
{...} (a corrigenda to the original paper was published last year in JAC)
and to identify the fitting SH parameters "alpha, ..., delta" with your
actual parameters by comparing the pole distribution formula in the program
you are using with (36) to (39) from this chapter (changing 4 into
2 in (36))

Best wishes
Nicolae Popa
