This message goes way back to Feb 24th. I tried what Kit said to do, but
that does not help. Here are the startup messages:

When I do a: mount /zip
I get: mount: /dev/hdd1: can't read superblock

Same thing happens when I try a Dos Zip disk.

The fstab entry for the Zip drive is:

/dev/hdd1 /zip ext2 noauto,user,defaults 0 0
/dev/hdd4 /dos/zip vfat noauto,user,defaults 0 0

I've tried to fdisk hdd, sda, sdb, sdc and sdd, all to no avail.

Any ideas on what it is going to take to get this beast working?

Thanks.
