Yep, loads of fun... but the impression I got from Gareth was that it
should work

This got changed in the trunk of DRI CVS prior to the merge with XFree
4.0.2 so shouldn't be necessary anymore

What I've gathered, although by no means necessarily correct is that the
drivers should be using agggart to use system memory for textures if
they run out of video memory now.  This disappeared for a while, but I
thought it was back now...  I'll take the detailed head banging over to
the DRI lists for now.
