Hmmmm... Might work if we do it against the whole filesystem including the RPM control directories (since we want the RPM databases synch'ed up). Runs the risk of changing out a critical file on the fly, but then again anything else might as well. Ideally, if such a thing existed, we'd want something that worked within the RPM system and said "file a, c, and f changed but b, d, and e didn't. Here's a patch that will update just a, c, and f and will correct the RPM database to match the new RPM version etc.". - Matt
