Pork Chop Casserole

3-4 pork chops
1 medium onion  chopped
1 14 1/2 oz can of diced tomatoes
1 cup of beef broth
1 cup  white rice, uncooked
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tsp. marjoram
1 tsp.  thyme
oil for frying

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

On high  heat brown chops in oil, do not cook through.
Remove from pan and add chopped  onion, fry until tender.

In a shallow baking dish (9 x 13") Place rice  and all other
ingredients Mixing well but place pork chops on  top.

Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
