Romaine with Garlic and Walnuts Ingredients: 1 lb. Romaine lettuce, shredded 3 tbsp. chopped walnuts 1 clove (small) garlic, minced 1/8 tsp. salt (optional) 2 tsp. balsamic vinegar 4 tsp. olive oil Directions: Combine lettuce and walnut in a salad bowl. Combine remaining ingredients and pepper to taste in a jar with a tight lid, shake vigorously. Pour over salad and toss. Makes 4 servings.
