These are wonderful. My mom always made them and we have all tried to duplicate her recipe. Now that I have this one I'm going to give it a try. One thing I remember though is that she brushed the tops of them with melted butter before she baked them. I'll let you know how they turn out. The first year my son tried to make them he told everyone he had a call from the National Hockey league for an order of Hockey pucks; that's what they looked like. (Smile)
