I'm about to take 24 L16 FLA batteries off an island. Any idea how much
Interstate pays? I'm giving the owner the salvage money, charging for our labor
and transport costs. He would like to know what to expect.

Interstate Battery takes mine. They should have a store somewhere near you.

Jay,
I couldn't find anyone in the Reno area either so I went searching. Try
Batteryrecyclersofamerica.com 866.827.1830 I spoke to them last week and they
will schedule a truck to pick them up after I have them on a pallet ready for
shipment. Still waiting to find out what I need to do but I think it's just
wrapping them in plastic, making sure not to include too much weight and
possibly adding some decals. If they don't come thru I guess plan B might be to
flush them, get the lead out, and make more bullets for my 45 long colt (ought
to be several thousand rounds).

HI All

I just got back from my local recycler. He won’t take the GNB AGM batteries.
He said his ultimate buyer in california won’t buy them.

Has any one else seen this?

thanks
