The Midnite AIO has an APSmart transmitter built in. I will probably use that going forward for off-grid systems that require RSD.
I never regretted sticking with Enphase, even after the early failures, but to be fair, my business hadn't ramped up much until the M250 came out, so I didn't have a ton of M190s out there. I happen to have forty M215 on my home with only one failure since installation! SolarEdge announced the stoppage of HDWave returns a while back, and now we have a graveyard of them that we are wondering how to address. Unfortunately, we have had to take quite a few to the local landfill, as we don't have dedicated e-waste here that I can find. I do think they separate it first because we have a waste to energy incinerator here. I'm not really sure how they deal with this type of waste, sadly.
