I think the blank GSLC comes with the main breaker bracket and the bus bars
for connecting them. What I have not had a chance to try is connecting the
breaker bus that usually connects the bottom of the two main breakers
directly to the upper bus bars, and not installing the two breakers at all.
It seems like it would fit, but until I see it done I would not specify it.
I've often specified a single 250A breaker, usually in a MidNite BCB, to
each inverter so that a single 4/0 cable can be used to each inverter. I've
been specifying this since the Radian came out and have had no reports of
the breaker tripping. This keeps the necessary bus bar size for multiple
inverters at a lower rating. Four inverters can be kept within the 1000A
rating of the MidNite BCB and the 1000A shunt can be used for the FNDC. If
you put all of the charge controllers in a FW500 or FW1000 you can use
those shunts for the solar to the FNDC.
