Ray,
Your picture is clearly one of an aluminum lug with a steel screw. I would 
agree that this lug is unacceptable, but this is NOT the lug which is commonly 
used and has been used for many years. While you apparently are infatuated by 
the WEEB device, not all of us are. Could you please do us all the service of 
recanting?

IMHO, this is a galvanic reaction between the Cu, Al, and (our loser) the Lug 
which became the anode.
No other corrosion was near this state of deterioration (frames, etc), and ALL 
the lugs looked like this on most systems I've seen over 3 years old on Maui.
I've seen advanced Ilsco lug corrosion in New Mexico as well, so don't think 
you inland folks are safe.

My fellow wrenches, this is NOT a good way to ground modules.
The WEEB is not just faster to install, it is a vastly superior connection, and 
is now being accepted by most AHJs; its also stainless steel.
Can we please continue to move forward into the 21st century, Sunpower? Your 
modules are the best, don't make us go backwards.
