Hi Dana. It was not too long ago that I sent my occasional message to the list 
trying to remind folks of the public nature of its archives. I have pasted it 
below.

Please note that the only list I maintain that has private archives is the 
RE-Bitching list. While anything goes on that list, its original intent was to 
be a place where Wrenches could let off steam without fear of public notice or, 
more importantly, discuss anything that is off topic for this list.

Anyway, here is what I posted (and was apparently not well-heeded) last Jan. 16.
