Greg,

The 200W, 96 cell inverter is CSA listed to UL1741, and is on the CEC list of eligible inverters. Obviously there are more products on the way, but I'm not at liberty to discuss the details right now. We do keep the website VERY up to date.

Your results are very much inline with our findings on MANY instrumented beta sites.

See Ya!

Wrenches,
I will let the Enphase inverter rep, Marv, answer any questions about future
higher watt rated inverter generations, but we had first had experience
installing a beta test of eight 200W enphase inverters HIP-200BA3 modules on
a former installation of 16 modules on a Fronius IG3000 inverter. We took
eight of them off the old Fronius installation and connected them to eight
Enphase inverters. One of the eight enphase inverters was defective from
the start and was replaced the next day.

The initial readings showed that the eight panels with Enphase inverters
actually produced between 10-15% more than the Fronius inverter output with
2 strings of four HIP-200BA3 modules. I can keep the group updated on any
evolving events to which I am privy.

175W is an output rating, so for most climates it will do the job. They
mentioned a slightly higher rated unit on the horizon.

Another problem that is even more basic is the 175 watt limitation, when so
many popular panels are now in the 180 to 220 watt range, and getting larger
all the time.
