When I talked with Grant about what bike would work for my wife with a kid 
on the handlebars and another on the rear rack, with panniers Grant 
suggested the Atlantis or Hunqapillar over the Betty for stoutness reasons. 
It seems pretty clear that the Hunqapillar is the way to go for loaded 
rough-stuff touring.
