Yes. I really liked Maguras for ease of installation, set-up, and cold performance, but they are very easy to overheat here on the sides of Mt. Diablo. The rotors get hot enough to scar a calf (my lower leg, but I'm sure it would brand a baby cow too). Their proprietary fluid is, perhaps, intended for Teutonic cold.
