My buddy dressed his Dahon in copper trim - went so far as having the pedal cages plated. He bought copper fenders from Denmark that were thin flat bar, shape-your-own simple bend. Came out really nice and remind me in appearance of the simple bend wooden fenders, though slightly thinner.
