I've used the LX version. Think one of my bikes has one. (Maybe two). Hard to remember, as each has a different shifter. I like it. But if things were switched out for a "normal" derailleur, probably wouldn't notice.
Wish they had kept them in the lineup, but can understand the folks who don't like them really don't like them.
