Thanks for correcting me, velomann. It's 60 miles taking the most direct route, and you shouldn't take the most direct route. I've ridden from Klamath Falls to Crater Lake, but I took a even less direct route; the first day I rode up to Lake of the Woods and camped there (nice place), and the second day I rode to Crater Lake NP and camped there.
I can heartily recommend riding around the lake. Even with cars on the road, it's magnificent.
