You would be wrong. I work in a community garden, we have Bahco tools. They are good. We like them a lot. Considerably better than the Chinese crap at Home Depot.
You would be wise to get the VO model. You get utility and longevity. The Riv hatchet lineup is precious. You pay for exclusivity. Exclusivity is OK, but it doesn't cut wood better.
