The difference in ride and speed when I swap from Soma tires to Pari Motos on my Sam Hillborne is noticeable, noticeable enough that I have a second wheelset for each tire; one for clubby rides and the other for Just Riding! The difference is 120 grams per tire, I believe. The performance difference probably isn't totally weight, but I am sure it doesn't hurt.
