It sounds like you have a lot of heavy bikes and mostly commute. Have you thought about trying to buy a used simple one or quickbeam? I also had/have heavier bikes (big dummy, Atlantis) but mostly commute. I bought a Simple One this year and set it up for my commute with a front basket and rear large saddle sack. It is by far my favorite bike to ride to work and the one I ride 9 out of 10 days (San Francisco-Ocean Beach to downtown SF). As long as there are no stupendous hills, it is a marvelous ride and much lighter and "simpler".
