Darin,

I don't have pictures at hand but have Marathon Supreme 40's (42-622) /
Longboards on my Atlantis for almost a year now. Oh. and the back rim is
an A719 laced to a White MI5.

Previously I used Marathon Plus 47's with Silver SKS. I still have a new
set of orphaned 47's if interested ;)

I appreciate the sturdiness of the Silver SKS and have them on other bikes
but from a functional stand point the Long boards provide better coverage
and although not quite as sturdy by compare are plenty sturdy.

I like this set up enough that the Supreme's are wearing and I purchased
another set for replacement when these demand change.

One note is that this setup is for daily commute. I commute about 16 miles
daily on surface streets and city roads. I can't opine on fully loaded
touring.

Finally, I do receive regular compliments about the bike when out and
about. My stock response is "and it's highly functional" I like the fact
that everything works well for me and that it's attractive is secondary.

I'll try to get some pictures up in the next day or two.

I vote for Longboard.
