Kojaks are wonderful. I have a couple thousand miles on them, on various bikes including a Vanilla and a Roadeo. I am fairly enthralled by them. Comfotable, good adhesion, excellent for long rides on crappy pavement (Levi's Gran Fond, Hell's Gate 100). > > 2. You know, that's a great idea. I'm not good about the esthetics - - my fender lines, brake cables, handlebar taping are usually pretty sketchy. I wouldn't have even thought to pull the rack in closer, but as you mention it, sounds like a smart thing to do.
